Established in 2007, VH supplies clever online business solutions to SME’s and retailers. In our first 12 months of operation we discovered that the back-end of business wasn’t where we should be spending our time. Like any other new business, there were many hurdles to overcome with keeping track of re-occurring billing, provisioning of services and client support, and it became that the majority of our time was taken up just operating on a day-to-day level for our clients.
It may sound familiar – We spent all of our time working IN the business and not ON the business. We thought there must be a better way, and from that realised we could offer a better way for our clients too.
After months of research into the various packages available in the market and what other web hosting providers weren’t offering, there seemed to be only one logical solution to the challenge and that was to automate every process we could and systematize as many aspects of the business as possible.
We soon discovered Parallels who have the best designed billing and automation packages available in the industry. They provide a high level of support and the right tools needed to systematize our business model to become more profitable. But all of this came at a very steep price and we very quickly understood why there were no other systems like this available to resellers. The outlay and infrastructure required to deploy these systems were vastly greater than the profit margin for the majority of resellers.
Needless to say, seeing an opportunity to be the first dedicated reseller ‘facilitator’ in Australia, we took the plunge and became a Parallels Partner in 2008. We established one of the first deployments of its kind for PBAS – Parallels Business Automation Standard in Australia.
Partnering with Parallels allowed us to automate reoccurring billing, payment processing, service provisioning for shared hosting, domain name registration, VPS – Virtual Private Servers and many more products and services and offer these same products to Resellers for very little to no outlay on hardware or software.
Responding to market need, we evolved from selling solutions directly to SME’s to today providing state of the art Internet services specifically tailored to our Partners & Resellers in a dedicated B2B (“Business to Business”) environment focusing on product innovation, customer service, support and services automation. No other provider offers our range of products and services, guaranteed.
Over the last 3 years VH has added more partnerships to our line-up including Microsoft, Interspire, Ashay’s & Atmail to help deliver the products and services resellers need to be able to compete in the marketplace against some of the bigger providers. All of this and a hands on approach to personalised service has made VH one of the leading innovators in the Australian Cloud Services industry, specifically dedicated to helping resellers and partners B2B.
